Photo Reference:                                     
Clear, high-quality photographs in good condition are accepted. To protect treasured or irreplaceable photographs, please provide copies rather than original photographs. Clients who live at a distance may email digital images in JPEG format at a sufficiently high resolution.

Photography and Live Sitting:
With the client’s consent, the artist may create a quick study drawing during a live sitting. For a more detailed portrait painting, the artist may take several photographs of the client to use as reference material.

Shipping and Delivery                                 
For clients who live at a distance, a digital image of the completed portrait may be emailed for final review before shipment. Shipping fees, applicable sales tax, and the artist’s travel expenses, if applicable, are additional.

Framing                                                 
Finished portraits are supplied unframed. Framing can be arranged for an additional fee.

Estimated Completion Time 
The following timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on the medium, complexity, and scope of the individual project.                 
 Oil: 1 month to 1 year               
 Pastel: 2 weeks to 6 months                      
 Pencil or Charcoal: 2 weeks to 6 months

Permission for Public Display and Publication            The artist may wish to display or publish your portrait painting in exhibitions, competitions, Website, social media, in printed Publications, on any digital or printed media, Publications. or through other digital and printed platforms.
Would you give the artist permission to display or publish your portrait for these purposes?

Copyright and Artistic Authorship          
The artist retains the copyright and intellectual property rights to every portrait created, whether commissioned or sold. Purchasing a portrait transfers ownership of the physical artwork only—not its copyright—unless otherwise agreed in writing.          
The artist’s name and authorship may not be removed, altered, or falsely attributed to another person. Reproduction, commercial use, or any use beyond personal ownership requires the artist’s permission, subject to applicable law.

Payment and Cancellation Policy
Full payment of the total portrait price is required in advance. 
   - Cancellation within 24 hours: The amount paid will be refunded in full.
   - Cancellation after 24 hours: The refund will be limited to 50% of the total portrait price.
The portrait will be released or shipped only after full payment has been received.
